So glad to have you in POL. I was in POL for over 17 years and even though it was a couple of decades ago, so much is still the same. Especially about the joking and comradery, the brother and sisterhood and the recruiters trying to get the slots filled first for Security and Fuels. WE could pick our jobs back then before we joined, but there were no bonuses. Cooks were also added as always in big need. In fact, if some troops washed out of their tech school, often Security, Fuels or cooks would receive them.

i went with Bates. I went from -2.5 to -1 in a year. Cost: $40.

As an ex SP in the late 70s and 80s, Police Agencies looked at LE SPs more favorable then Security Forces in part, they view Security Forces as the infantry of the Air Force.

So glad I found this video, even though it's 5 years later! 2 weeks ago I had laparoscopic surgery to remove a cyst on my ovary, and my OB discovered I also have stage 1 endometriosis. Similar to you, I always had uncomfortable periods but since I had nothing to compare it to, I thought it was just the norm. The diagnosis was very validating, but I was also worried about what the AF would say (I'm a Reservist). I'm relieved to hear you didn't face any issues with your IMR/overall readiness! I have my first drill weekend post-surgery this weekend, fingers crossed they're just as understanding.

Can I get diagnosed with endometriosis before joining the military as long as I can control it with pain meds? Maybe even go to the army or navy? I saw that endometriosis can be a disqualifying factor but you can also get a waiver. I haven’t been OFFICIALLY diagnosed yet but I’m 99% sure I have it so I’m debating getting diagnosed or seeking if I can make it through boot camp

I want this job but I want to work as a Neurodiagnostic technologist, so under the Aerospace medical service 4N0X1 there is this thing called shreadouts with multiple jobs like Neurodiagnostic medical tech, Independence Duty Medical Tech, Allergy/Immunization tech, Flight and Operational medical tech, Aeromedical Evacuation tech, etc. Does that mean I can pick one of those jobs as my main focus under the aerospace medical service?

I had PRK and it destroyed my vision. It was the worse decision I ever made and it destroyed my life and has destroyed the lives of so many others. I didn’t develop any vision issues until about a year after the surgery. You may be fine now but you can develop vision issues and/or severe eye pain years after the surgery. You are also more prone to all sorts of things like corneal ectasia, detached retinas, early onset cataracts, etc. Even if you don’t develop noticeable symptoms, your eyes are still damaged structurally. The cornea was never meant to be cut open. I wish every single day I could go back and not have it and be able to have perfect vison with glasses and soft contact lenses again. Unfortunately, I can’t go back in time but at least I can warn others about how dangerous these procedures are so maybe they won’t have to suffer like me. Please do not promote these horribly dangerous and completey unecessary procedures. All you’re doing is potentially hurting others by encouraging them to go through with it.

My brain surgeon advised against these surgeries because he said i have a thin cornea. i went through the screening process for 3 Laser Eye Surgery companies and they all said i did qualify and my cornea was thick enough. I went back to my brain surgeon and he still advised against it. Seeing as he makes $0 from saying "you qualify" I went with his advice.

Lasik, PRK, SMILE, it's all a scam and snake oil. Lasik surgeons are not real doctors just thieves that damage healthy eyes. 100% of people will have complications at some point in their lives. Stay away and never trust a Lasik surgeon.

I got a 93 on my asvab and got stuck with fuels. They must be dyslexic and saw 39 instead. Either that or I got screwed over.

Thank you for making these videos! I got PRK surgery on friday 2/16 so Im on day 5 now and have been going through pretty much the same things too! Got a little stuffed up from lots of drops but thats going away lol using ice packs helped a lot with the irritation along with the moisturizing drops. My prescription before surgery was about -6 in my left eye and -5 in my right lol so it was pretty bad. My vision on day 5 is still blurry but not as bad as before surgery. Looking forward to the end results!! 😊 Ps I love your makeup! Cant wait to be able to do mine again too! Lol

In addition to tears, buy a anti microbial face spray. It helps me.

hey some advice , your skin is not stubborn , the reason for the acne can not be healed through topical solutions but internal solutions . you have to heal your insides . remember your skin is the largest organ of your body . acne is a warning from your body that it either needs certain nutrients or its been compromised by what you are consuming . cutting out sugar from your diet will make a huge impact on your skin health , cutting down on carbs will also benefit you greatly , physical activity , and consuming vitamin d , zinc , vitamin c , fish oils and vitamin b will greatly improve your skin health . you may want to consider taking milk thistle , its a powerful herb for liver health , great for getting rid of acne , and also start fasting . maybe intermittent fasting where yu dont eat for 12-18 hrs and then you eat . intermittent fasting is phenomenal for your overall health including getting rid of acne .

If you're looking into the root cause, I would look into parasite cleanses. I know it sounds scary, but we all have them. But going through cleanses definitely helps. You can look up Organic Olivia.. she had it bad as well as on her back. Definitely look into it!

Love this! I pray for many blessings on your marriage. I know the military has a bad stigma with marriage, but there ARE good and healthy and loving marriages. We've been going 16 years strong and love each other so much. Just wait until you all decide to have children (if you do decide to). You think you can't love someone anymore until they become a parent. Seeing my husband become a father just made me fall in love with him even more. We're OCONUS now, and this PCS was the hardest yet. But we grew so much as a family, and all we care about is our little family and that's it. And it's the absolute best feeling. He is my rock and I am his. I am so happy for you. God bless you and your husband!
